In Delhi Sharab Ghotala, Arvind Kejriwal have also been summoned by the CBI. But this is the same liquor scam in which Manish Sisodia is still in jail even after filing different bail applications in a different court.
I will discuss his bail application and his status. Let us understand in full detail. In this matter, on the evening of 26th February,2023, Manish Sisodia was arrested from the CBI office, and on February 27, 2023, he was presented in the CBI court. Where CBI lawyers argue that Manish Sisodia is not giving proper answers, they want his custody, and in response to this matter, Manish Sisodia's lawyers argue that the arrest itself is illegal. There is no policy for this arrest here, and it is against the guidelines of the Supreme Court.

But the courts also give custody to the CBI, and later, when the custody expires, they are sent to judicial custody, i.e., jail, and on February 28, Abhishek Manu singhvi, who is Manish Sisodia's lawyer, directly approaches the Supreme Court for bail. The Supreme Court for bail does not reject the bail here, but they refuse to hear the bail, and they say that you should go to the High Court, Trial Court. But they cannot come to the Supreme Court directly.
Where Mr. Singh also tries to convince the court that the Supreme Court has heard such matters before. But the Supreme Court currently refuses to hear this matter, and on March 7, when Manish was in jail, the ED came to the jail to arrest him and present him in the next ED court. Even after taking custody, Manish Sisodia's lawyer says that the ED is misusing her power to arrest him. But the court rejects this and gives custody to ED. Until now, there was no observation against whatever demand orders were coming.

But on March 31, the CBI court rejected his bail application and said that, prima facie, it seems that Manish Sisodia is the architect of this entire scam, and if he is released on bail, he can destroy the evidence. Currently, the status is that this order has been challenged in the Delhi High Court, and a bail application is also pending in the Court, all of which will be heard. I will cover this scam and update you.
