Aspartame Sweetener used in Diet Coke : WHO

    Aspartame

The biggest news in health today is that aspartame, the sweetener used in Diet Coke, is going to be listed as a possible carcinogen, according to the World Health Organization.

    Cause CANCER

To make it simple for everyone, carcinogen means it can possibly cause CANCER in India. Aspartame is found in Diet Coke but not in Coke Zero or Pepsi Black. These use a different artificial sweetener. I spent many hours in the grocery store after this news and found these products, Centre Fresh and Happy Dent, to also have aspartame, but there are many other products that also contain aspartame.

Here is the most effective way you can find those products: Usually, aspartame is found in products that advertise themselves as no sugar or sugar-free. Don't use the word aspartame in the ingredient list. Instead, look out for E951, or Sweetener 951, in the ingredient list of any product you buy. Screenshot this. Share it with your friends and family, and reconsider whether you should have diet coke.
